Crazy for Convertibles...

Sixty-nine year old Gordon Riewie has an admitted obsession with old cars and specifically the convertible. He says it began in his high school years and has continued throughout his life. Today more than 50 years later, Gordon has an impressive collection of some 15 convertibles, mostly from the 1940's and 1950's and with no particular make allegiance, as long as it's a convertible.

Recently we supplied Gordon with an interior and top kit for a project he was working on, a 1956 Ford convertible. What made this vehicle somewhat unusual was the lavender/white paint job and similar combo on the interior upholstery and door panels. While not something common for that year it was available as a special order. We worked with Gordon to meet his request and the results were outstanding. In Gordon's words ..." I can't thank you enough for the amazing job your people did on the top and interior kit they produced for me. The attention to detail is truly un-matched in the industry. My upholster said it is the best top he has installed in 36 years" .

Of the many vehicles to choose from Gordon says he leans toward his 1956 Lincoln convertible as one of his favorites.
